Situated on the boardwalk at Tamarama Beach, Sydney, ENVIROSCOPE invites the public to reengage with their surroundings by reflecting and abstracting it.

A series of openings with hidden mirrors act as periscopes and kaleidoscopes, reflecting the Australian coastline in unexpected ways.

Enviroscope reconfigures the individual’s relationship with their surroundings, through reflections that transform one’s context. The landscape is redirected and reframed, reflected in such a way that the viewer is never looking directly ahead nor directly behind.
